Why the title, “Speak Fearlessly”?

What is the meaning of your logo?

There are four principles that inform our work. We have translated these principles into four Asian charters to create a logo that communicates across national boundaries. The four principles are fused together in what is called a “chop” in Asia, which functions as a combination signature, corporate seal, and trademark. Our four learning foundations depicted in our logo are:

motivate.gifMOTIVATE 1. Participants are motivated before building skills, deepening their commitment to improve. Motivated by exercises, coaching, and feedback customized to their unique needs, challenges, and personal style, participants learn more quickly and they retain what they learn.

The key catalyst in our work is “action,” participants are immediately immersed in exercises that demonstrate their current level of skill, their unique challenges, and their pathway to improved performance. When the development of new skills is grounded in action, participants see the relevance of what they are learning, as well as the need to improve performance.

grow.gifGROW 3. Participants continue to expand their capabilities long after our work is complete. With a deepened awareness of their strengths and challenges and a greater understanding of how to improve performance, each individual is able to more accurately observe how they affect others and how to adjust their behavior for better results. Online follow up sessions reinforce learning and help each participant map new skills to current job requirements.

All exercises and instruction are customized around both the participant’s needs, as well as the requirements of their company and position. The individualized focus of our work helps participants quickly apply their new skills to their specific jobs. The result is improved performance.

About Chuck

Chuck Kuglen is Owner and Managing Partner and oversees sales, business development, Recruiting (for customers), and programs for partners of The Henderson Group. Chuck brings more than 25 years of sales management and business development experience with companies like Oracle, Aurum, ServiceSource, Planitax and Baan. Prior to joining the Henderson Group, Chuck ran business development for Quovera, a Silicon Valley consulting company which became the top US provider for several leading technology companies (e.g. Cognos, i2, Oracle, IBM) and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He also studied in Barcelona, Spain and Mexico and he’s worked extensively in technology companies, real estate, and developing new companies and the people that propel them.

About Terry

Terry Gault created, led, and managed The Henderson Group’s outsourced Executive Communications practice.  Terry served as an outsourced Consulting Executive Communications Director at Xamarin (Acquired by Microsoft), MarkMonitor (Spun off by Thomson-Reuters Spinout), Prezi, and Climate Corporation (Acquired by Monsanto), and Serena Software (Acquired by Micro Focus). Terry was the VP of Services from 2002 through 2008.  In that role, he oversaw all operations, curriculum and services. In addition, he managed a team of 11 professionals.  This entailed the selection, training and development of all consultants. Terry has been a consultant with the Henderson Group since 1997.

About Nicole

Nicole Henderson directs operations and marketing for The Henderson Group. She develops and manages The Henderson Group’s web and social media presence, and edits the company blog, SpeakFearlessly. She also produces The Henderson Group’s in-house video marketing. In her free time Nicole is passionate about photography, filmmaking and most forms of visual communication.
